Help, I can’t create an account
If you are enrolling and trying to create a new account if the popup window doesn’t close when you press on the “Create an account” button make sure that
- all of the text boxes have been filled in
- the same password is used in both “Password” and “Confirm Password” boxes
- the username you choose is all in lower case. Usernames can only contain lower case letters (a-z) and numbers.
If you’ve been given a passcode to use with your course please do not try and create an account by putting the passcode into any boxes labelled ‘username’ – please pick your own username.
I’ve been given a passcode but the website says it is invalid
Please copy the code carefully you probably have one of the letters or numbers wrong
Have you e.g. confused lowercase l for lion with uppercase I for Ireland or the number 1?
I’ve enrolled or registered but haven’t received an email
When you enroll on a course you should receive an email to confirm that you’ve joined OK. If you haven’t received an email:
a) make sure messages haven’t ended up in your spam or junk mail folder
b) it’s possible you mistyped your email address when creating your account so you’ll never receive the email as it will be sent somewhere else – if you think this might have happened to you please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us your username and we can set your email address to the right one.
